The Ad Club’s Women’s Leadership Forum corresponded with the launch of John Hancock’s new impact investing platform, COIN, that helps people invest in companies committed to making change. This aligned beautifully with the forum’s 2019 theme: Seismic Shifts.
As presenting sponsor, we wanted to be the talk of the event. So we transformed the space into an arcade where attendees could have some fun between speakers, win cool prizes and learn about the causes supported by COIN’s investment portfolios.
Most activations at women’s events are very “girl power” oriented, so it was a refreshing departure to use our real estate to showcase a product instead. Especially one that empowers people to effect positive change with their money. And the women at the forum were right in our target.
It was a win for attendees, a win for some important causes, and a win for the company. Which is what impact investing is really all about.
